It was fine except I had to file off the sides of the bracket to fit any USB cable I had.
The USB cable from the BP2 fits in this extension really snug, but that's perfect so I don't have to worry about cable damage on the USB end or it damaging a USB port.
This extension gave me a secure way of mounting it to the rig and being able to place it where it makes sense for me.
If you don't have access to a 3d printer to try and create your own, you won't go wrong with this option.
This mount is awesome. I have it mounted under my DD1. I know it’s not supposed to be mounted there and should be mounted to a one of my extruded aluminum rails, but I like the way it fits/looks. I’m only able to use one mounting hole and wish I could use both, but again it’s not intended to men mounted in this position.
Have to say it was a pleasure doing business great product and fast shipping will be back
This handles a big need for me to have a solid connection to my wheel. It is well made and has worked from day one; if I could make one suggestion for improvement however, that would be to increase the size of the port opening on the mount. The plug for my cable is a little larger than it will accept, so I can't completely insert the USB end into the port. I have not yet experienced a disconnect with the slightly loose connection but the risk is there.
